What’s it like?

This is the elegant self-contained studio apartment you have been dreaming of.  It’s a completely furnished living space, perfect for the temporary DC Metro area professional.  The space is for one adult male or female.  It has as an antique desk and old-world look, yet also has a printer, all wireless capabilities for logging in with your own desktop computer or laptop.    There is a wonderful working marble fireplace for the winter, and a community pool, parks, and local tennis courts for the summer.  You have a private entrance/walk-out to your own patio, sufficient storage and shelf-space, a double bed with nice clean comfy mattress.  You will be given a private parking space near the house if you need it. There is a well-appointed private tiled bath room; 2 small refrigerators, with freezer compartments and microwave, and a large cabinet in a utility room for you to keep your own food and supplies. There is a laundry with full size washer and dryer and utility sink and more shelf space designated for you. You’re welcome to share the  HD TV which works on cable as a television, and/or may be used to hook up to a computer as a monitor.

What’s it include?

The rent includes, utilities: water, gas, electric, trash/recycling both on Tuesday and trash pick up only up on Friday, HD cable, and HD-TV with cable box. You have access to a private Yi-Fi network for your computer. You may have a telephone landline too - but you pay the landline hookup, and bill if you desire that service.  You really need your own cell phone. Also includes lots of lovely extras, like professional (not by your landlady) maid, and linen service.

This is the perfect spot that is quiet and cozy, yet is located in the heart of Gaithersburg ,

steps from the Ride-on-Bus (#59); 1.5 miles from MARC train/Red Line Metro, right near

Routes 355/270/370/495/ shopping and more. It is 25 miles from Nation’s Capitol, and the Smithsonian Institution and the excitement of DC.  For our location and surroundings attractions and other hot spots in MD, DC, and VA.  See the Google map

We’re 1  1/2  miles from National Institute of Standards and Technology NIST (MAP), and 11 Miles from the Naval Medical Center in Bethesda. National Institutes of Health, multiple facilities throughout the area (NIH MAP).  The Universities at Shady Grove (UMD MAP) is and many other Research Institutions like the Shady Grove Life Sciences Center as well as Johns Hopkins are located nearby.

This is a pretty self-contained space, almost an apartment, but you’re welcome to share my complete kitchen in this a townhouse, which is a non-smoking interior environment, occupied by one congenial adult.  Sorry, no pets.  Furnished living space with lots of the extras!
